As for IBF and WBO champ Wladimir, again according to ESPN, talks are underway to get the younger brother's next fight sorted out. Wladimir has two mandatory challengers to accommodate, Povetkin and Chambers, and reports suggest Wladimir is more interested in facing Chambers; "because it's the better fight for HBO and the better fight for America." Going by how impressive Chambers looked against Alexander Dimitrenko last time out, it's tough to argue with such thinking. Of course, Povetkin, who has been biding his time, will have to be given his shot soon also....

Da Povetkin einen Aufbaukampf bestreiten will, hoffe ich, dass die IBF da durchgreift und Wladimir zuerst Chambers boxern kann. Chambers hat sich seinen Titelkampf verdient durch seine hervorragende Leistung gegen Dimitrenko.

Povetkin ist im Dezember 2008 verletzungsbedingt ausgestiegen und hat seitdem nun nicht gerade im Boxring geglänzt. Es kann ja wohl nicht sein, dass er Mandatory bleibt, obwohl Teddy Atlas an einem Aufbaukampf für Povetkin interessiert ist.

Ich hoffe die IBF wird nicht auch noch zur Marionette von Sauerland & Co, sowie wie es z. Zt. bei der WBA der Fall ist.

Povektin ist nen Witz und du hast Recht, daß er absolut keinen Titelkampf verdient hat. Seine paar Auftritte waren äußerst dürftig.

Falls es mit Arreola bei Vitali nicht klappt, sollte man überlegen ob es nicht möglich ist VItali gegen Povektin zu boxen.

Dann hat Wladimir Ruhe vor dieser Pfeife und Vitali zumindest eine Alternative, die zumindest in Europa einigermaßen interessant ist!!!!!
