March 21st, Stuttgart - in the sold-out Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle WBC Champion Vitali Klitschko defends his title against Cuban Juan Carlos Gomez. 12.500 spectator watch referee Daniel van de Wiele (Belgium) when he stopped the fight in round 9. It is Vitali's first defense after his impressive comeback and the regaining of the WBC belt in October 2008. Vitali's fight record is now 37 wins (36 KOs) in 39 fights.
