June, 20th, Gelsenkirchen - IBF, WBO and IBO Heavyweight World Champion Wladimir Klitschko scores a tenth round TKO over previously unbeaten WBA Heavyweight Champion in recess Ruslan Chagaev in front of record-breaking crowd of 61.000. Klitschko chooses the ideal tactics for boxing against a lefthander. Having a huge advantage in size and physical strength, Wladimir constantly connects to the head of the Uzbek boxer and drops Chagaev with a big right hand in round two - the first time Chagaev has fallen in his career. After round 9, Chagaev’s trainer Michael Timm decides to stop fight.
Through this win Wladimir Klitschko is the holder of "The Ring Magazine Heavyweight Championship Belt" that had been hold by his older brothger Vitali until 2005 and was vacant since then.
