Post your questions here for the next "Question and Answer: Wladimir & Vitali Klitschko" article!
I really enjoyed the recent Q&A's that was posted on the front page of the site!! I'm still trying to figure out whether Wladimir's the top or the pot in his first question!
I have become fascinated with Soviet mental training and meditation in creating a strong mind along with a strong body.
Would Vitali or Wladimir be able to explain their approach from a Soviet background to sports psychology and mental training in boxing and life in general? Do they use Soviet forms of meditation to prepare themselves to prepare for a fight?
I am very new to the idea of mental training and would like to know how the brothers are able to use their minds to push themselves in weight training, running, sparring and even skipping. Could they go into detail how they do this and before a fight when they are lying in bed ready to sleep what mental techniques do they use? I guess my main question is what Soviet mental techniques were they taught to be able to be at peak performance for a fight?
I hope to start sparring soon and one problem I have is hurting other people. Obviously, worrying about hurting the opponent in a combat sport is very damaging. How do you get into the mindset of getting ready to hurt someone?
Thanks

I would like to ask about your PhD thesis. Your doctoral thesis focused on the scientific study of the preparation of 14-to-17-year-olds who engaged in amateur sports. The _title_ was "Pedagogical Control in the System of Youth Coaching". I remember you mentioning that the manner in which a young girl or boy is trained is vital to their development, both psychological and physical. Can you please share with us a summary of your statements in this regard? (I wish it were available in English!!)
I am also interested in the thesis that Vitali presented to the German Bundeswehr University, "Ways to Define Sportsmen's Capabilities in the Multi-Step Selection System". Where can we read these two thesis's or can you give us a summary of that too?
