January 27th Vitali took the ring in Munich to co-challenge with American Orlin "Night Train" Norris for the WBA intercontinental Champion title - which had previously belonged to Wladimir. The fight lasted a mere 111 seconds. After just 39 seconds Norris hit the canvas for the first time, suffered the same fate 18 seconds after the re-start and wisely decided to call it a day.
