Wladimir Klitschko TKO 10 Jameel McCline
Wladimir Klitschko retained his WBO heavyweight world title with a 10th round technical knockout against American Jameel McCline at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. In his first major test against a highly ranked heavyweight in the United States, Klitschko showed he is among the heavyweight elite. Wladimir led on the scorecards the whole time. Wladimir knocked McCline down in the ninth round, but Jameel was able to get up and was saved by the bell, ending the round. In between rounds, McCline's team decided to stop the fight.
