Wladimir Klitschko TKO 6 Lamon Brewster
July 7th, Cologne – In front of a sellout-crowd at Koelnarena Wladimir Klitschko beats Lamon Brewster in a highly anticipated rematch of their strange first encounter in 2004. Wladimir dominates the fight with his jab and occasional right hands. Brewster proves to have a solid chin and tries to counter Klitschko´s attacks, but Wladimir has got everything under control. In round 6 the battered Brewster is knocked down, but is able to beat the count. The end of the round turns out a brutal slugfest with Wladimir keeping the upper hand. Right before the start of round 7 Brewster´s trainer Buddy McGirt calls a halt to the bout to protect his charge. TKO-victory for Wladimir Klitschko in round 6.
